Dale Lusby - 2005 TKO State Champ
Mann's Martial Arts student "Dale Lusby", still a white belt, with no previous martial arts experience, and who only spent 3 months of training at our school, enters as a "wildcard" contestant and wins the year-end 2005 Texas Karate Organization State Championship title for "Beginning Men" in sparring. This was Dale's 1st tournament !!!
In an exhibition match afterwards, Dale unintentionally Knocks Out a yellow belt opponent with his front leg roundhouse kick!

Holy cow! Honestly. .one would think that Dale has been hanging around with kangaroos... Look at that! Awesome natural talent to start his walk down the path of martial arts with a bang. Now.. he has to be careful to keep the momentum when the hard training kicks in, and the natural talent doesn't cover it all. I wish him the best in the future.
